Onchain Summer — Hypersub launches Hypersummer

Onchain Summer is back for its second year. All summer long, Coinbase, Base, and the entire onchain community are celebrating and showcasing onchain music, art, food, gaming, and more. This Onchain Summer we’re making it easy for anyone to build and participate, and we invite you to join us to take part in a more creative internet.

You can now create a free tier for your Hypersub. Simply create a new tier and specify a price of 0. This is a great option for top-of-funnel subscriber acquisition and sending notifications for upcoming drops, discounts, offers, early access, and more.

Starting this Friday, channels will require membership to cast or reply. When enabled, if someone mints time on your Hypersub, they’ll receive an automatic direct cast inviting them to become a channel member. Hypersub-Farcaster memberships are onchain and can be free, pay-what-you-want, or priced, with payments accepted in crypto or via credit card.
